Cosmelan MD is a professional-grade chemical peel effective in treating hyperpigmentation, melasma, and sun damage, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Suitable for all skin types, with minimal downtime and long-lasting results, this peel boasts ingredients like hydroquinone, azelaic acid, salicylic acid, kojic acid, arbutin, and licorice extract to inhibit melanin production.
Additionally, it stimulates collagen production, improving skin texture and firmness. Expect even tone and long lasting glow. Cosmelan MD is our most aggressive method for treating pigmentation issues, and highly effective at suppressing melanocytes to control active melanin (often called the pregnancy or hormonal mask.)
We only book Cosmelan peels for mornings, as the peel stays on for 6–12 hours and is worn home and removed by the client later in the day. Clients will go home with skin care kits, and also receive a three week follow up appointment with a touch up.
This hydroquinone-free medical grade peel addresses hyperpigmentation, melasma, and sun damage, as well as stimulates collagen production, improving skin texture and firmness. Clients can expect to see even tone and a youthful glow, and even lightening of skin and pigmentation.
Vanish MD, formulated specially for Blue Divine, and is only offered here, and includes ingredients like retinoid and arbutin. This medicated peel system is wonderful for treating stubborn pigmentation and melasma also known as the ‘Mask of Pregnancy’ or hormonal pigmentation.
Application takes approximately 20 minutes and patients will leave the office with the peel on their face, which remains on for 6–8 hours. Patients receive a home care kit, and the remainder of the treatment will continue at home, until your follow up visit, scheduled 2–3 months post treatment.
We also offer the VanishMD in a Mini Peel, for smaller areas that need a less aggressive treatment, or as a follow up to a regular VanishMD peel.
We may be partial, given that we had Vanish MD custom formulated for us, and it is the lightening peel you can only find at Blue Divine, but for most people, we find this to be the peel with more consistently superior results. Our client feedback echoes what we have observed, which is that the Vanish MD depigmentation peel is the best availabe in Atlanta.
We love the hydroquinone-free formula, and we love being able to control the quality and safeguard against formula changes that may yield unexpected or less effective results.
