The key to achieving your best skin is finding the right chemical peel that targets your specific concerns and skin type. Our experts can guide you through the process to ensure you get the results you’ve been looking for.

The Chemical Peel Process

We begin by assessing your skin type, comfort level in terms of gentle to aggressive peels, and any concerns or questions you may have to select the ideal chemical peel. The treatment usually takes about 30 minutes, during which our skilled technicians apply the special chemical solution and monitor your skin’s reaction. For some peel’s we will be removing the product from your skin before sending you home, whereas other more advance peels may need to be worn all day, scheduled early in the day and removed at home.

Many peels come with take home care kits to help you maximize your recovery and results. Please note that most peels are most effective in a series of treatments, and each one has a different protocol — your aesthetician will go over pricing with you and give you the option to purchase a package of peels for savings, or to pay as you go.

Identifying Your Skin Type

For those who take skin care seriously, our experts evaluate your skin type before recommending a chemical peel. We consider factors like oil production, aging, sensitivity, ethnicity, and specific issues like acne or pigmentation to suggest the most suitable peel for you.

We take pride in serving Atlanta’s diverse community for over a decade, and in our expertise in providing safe and effective medical grade treatment options for ALL skin types.

Med Spa vs Plastic Surgeon vs Dermatologist: Which is Best?

Forgive us for being partial, but our vote is medi spa, hands down! While many dermatologists and plastic surgery centers offer chemical peels, our Atlanta med spa focuses on providing a comfortable, luxurious experience, backed by science-based medical grade treatment options.

Our patients have found that the advantage of coming here is that they aren’t rushed through the process, they are working with expert board-certified estheticians who work up close with skin concerns every day, we have a much broader array of options and complimenting technology-based treatments. We use top-of-the-line products and state of the art tech, all while providing a very individualized treatment plan

Advanced Chemical Peel Techniques & Combo Treatments

Our Atlanta clinic offers advanced chemical peel options, including combination treatments and peels with injectables, Hydrafacials, laser treatments, and microneedling. These custom solutions address various skin issues, from acne and wrinkles to sun damage and pigmentation.

How Much Does a Chemical Peel Cost?

In Atlanta, chemical peel costs range from $150 to $500 or more, depending on the peel type, provider expertise, and skin issues being treated. At Blue Divine, our peels start at $250, due to the quality of products we use. Our med spa offers a variety of options to suit different budgets and skin needs, from gentle to aggressive peels.

Key Factors Influencing Chemical Peel Prices

  • Depth of the peel: Deeper peels like TCA or phenol are typically more expensive.
  • Specialized formulas: Peels with advanced ingredients cost more.
  • Number of treatments: Some conditions require multiple sessions.
  • Quality of Peels: We highly advise patients to steer clear of Groupon type med spas and providers who are not transparent about the products they’re using. We use name brand, FDA-approved products, never counterfeit or diluted.
  • Provider expertise: The skill and qualifications of the practitioner affect the price. Our expert estheticians have decades of combined experience.

We work closely with our patients to create a tailored chemical peel plan that considers all these factors, ensuring you get the best value for your skin rejuvenation investment.

What to Expect Post-Treatment

After your chemical peel, you might notice:

  • Redness and slight swelling for a few days
  • Peeling or flaking that can last several days to a week
  • Increased sensitivity to sunlight, requiring diligent protection

These effects are normal and indicate the peel is working to reveal fresh, healthy skin. Our team will guide you through this process, ensuring you know what to expect and how to care for your skin.

You may want to consider taking a few days off work or social activities if you do not want to be seen during the peeling process. Your take home kit will include products to keep your skin hydrated, but you will also need to plan to drink lots of water, and to stay out of sun and away from dirt, debris, etc.

Maintaining Smooth and Radiant Skin

To keep your skin smooth and radiant after a chemical peel:

  • Use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser to avoid irritation
  • Apply a nourishing, hydrating moisturizer to keep your skin supple
  • Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to protect your new skin
  • Avoid harsh exfoliants, scrubbing, and other intensive treatments until fully healed

By following these tips, you can maximize the benefits of your chemical peel and enjoy smooth, radiant skin for a long time.

“I’ve been getting regular chemical peels at this med spa, and the results have been amazing. My skin is smoother, more radiant, and my acne and sun damage have significantly improved.”
